Overview: The Science and Technology Division is
charged with the responsibility for providing
research and technology support to the Engineering
and Science Directorate as well as other Stennis
technical organizations. Major focus areas include
(1) development of advanced test technologies to
support rocket engine testing, (2) development of a
prototyping capability for the modeling and
verification of propulsion and earth science data,
and (3) providing research and technology
development capabilities in acoustics, thermal
radiation, environmental monitoring and modeling,
and integrated system health management.
