University of Florida Research and Engineering Education Facility
Shalimar, FL
The University of Florida Research and
Engineering Education Facility may be alone
right now, sitting on a large parcel of land
outside Eglin Air Force Base in Northwest
Florida. But over the next few years it will
likely be joined by other research operations as
plans progress to create a research campus
around the REEF that will focus on creating
advanced aerial weapons for the U.S. Air Force.
