Aerospace Alliance
AL-LA-MS-FL
Overview: A partnership of Alabama,
Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida with the
mission to market the Southeast region of the
United States as a world-class aerospace and
aviation corridor. They share the goal of
promoting the region's common assets and
long-standing tradition of excellence in the
aerospace industry to create opportunities to
grow the sector in the region. Members
advocate for policies, programs and specific
aerospace projects on the local, state and
national level.

Members: Business leaders, economic
development professionals and government
officials from the Gulf Coast and surrounding
region. Current member states are Alabama,
Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida.

Background: Created in 2009, the Aerospace
Alliance is a 501(c)(6) private/public
organization whose members advocate for
policies, programs and specific aerospace
projects on the local, state and national level.

Aerospace interests
...Centrally located to markets across the
United States, the Gulf Coast and
surrounding region offers access to global
markets via numerous deep water ports. The
region is already home to some of the
world's most advanced aerospace
installations, a number of key NASA
facilities and numerous military installations
critical to the Department of Defense flight
missions and training. Helicopters, naval
ships, rockets, spacecraft, manned and
unmanned aircraft and many other aerospace
systems are currently all manufactured and
assembled in the South.
